Congratulations on Catholic Christmas from the Grand Hotel Emerald
We know Christmas as a joyful family holiday. The gifts are prepared for everybody beforehand. And the relatives give them to each other that very happy day with the words”Merry Christmas!” For those, who rather far from the family place their relatives and friends usually send colourful postcards with best wishes.
Traditionally a New Year Tree decorated with bright toys, foil and candles is fixed in the biggest room of the apartments.

Children are waiting for Santa Clause who visits every house and brings them special Christmas gifts. On the Eve of Christmas children usually put a stocking for gifts near the fire place. It is the holiday job of Santa Clause to fill them with gifts.
This tradition is based on the legend according to which Nicolas the Wonder Worker gave each poor girl a purse with gold. He put them at night into the girl’s stockings which were dried near the fire place. The hospitable staff of the Grand Hotel Emerald congratulates you on this magic holiday.
