G20 in Saint-Petersburg
The G20 was created in 1999 in response to the financial crises in the late 1990s, the growing influence of emerging market economies on the global economy, and their disproportionately modest participation in the decision-making process.
The 2013 G-20 Russia summit will be the eighth meeting of the G-20 heads of government. The venue of the will be the Constantine Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia, 5–6 September 2013.
