This is a restaurant of Russian cuisine with a cozy and intimate interior, executed in classic and calm tones. The interior styling is complemented by: crystal chandeliers, antique buffets and chests of drawers, as well as porcelain and ceramic products of skilled masters of the Gzhel mural.

The restaurant offers dishes prepared according to traditional recipes of Russian cuisine, but in the author's interpretation of the hotel's chef. All dishes are served on traditional gzhel cookware with elegant bright blue patterns.

The Chef of Gzhel restaurant is Denis Melnikov.

Denis Melnikov, the chef GRAND HOTEL EMERALD

He has got his first education at the Baltic Tourist College, then graduated from the St. Petersburg Hospitality Institute.

He worked for Viking River Cruises and Park Inn by Radisson, under the supervision of Chief Wolfgang Coleman.

He headed the restaurant of country cuisine: Barbeque at the President Hotel.

Since October 2016 he is a chef of the GRAND HOTEL EMERALD.
